It was a lovely morning after the late night before. As we made our way to the Paddock Club, the security wasn’t that tight. We flashed our gold VIP pass and were directed to the gate that led to the lounge. Fully air-conditioned, free flow of champaign and drinks - it was a pity I had a whiff too much last night, still recovering *hic*. The view was superb! After some “hydration”, we took a walk to the Pit, to checked out the mean machines and the girls (sorry, but you have to understand that those are some of the best creations around).
That was just the dessert after the sumptuous lunch. Trust me, the chocolate cake was worth dying for. Then Kimi the Iceman turned up to sing us a song, as part of the VIP entertainment before the race started. The McLaren was Lewis Hamilton’s 1st pit stop. For me, he stole the show that day. McLaren rules! The other was a Honda with their new earth design. We were sitting above the pit, and had the freedom to roam as long as safety wasnt a concern. Wouldnt it be good if it had rained a bit…. but still… overall, a great day and a stunning race to match.
